Day 1 Travel to Devon with a stop at Cheddar Gorge en route.
Day 2 A morning free in Tiverton before a gentle cruise along the Grand Western Canal by horse-drawn barge. During the journey you will hear some tales about the canal and often there is a minute's silence so you can experience the true peace and tranquillity of travelling by horse-drawn barge..
Day 3 Join the West Somerset Railway, Britain's longest steam railway, at Bishops Lydeard for a scenic ride through the Quantock Hills to the resort of Minehead. Time at leisure in Minehead before continuing your journey by coach along the Somerset and Devon coast.
Day 4 A tour of the delightful villages of Devon. Head north to the market town of Barnstaple with an interesting stop at the Quince Honey Farm en route..
